STUDIO / GUIDE 05
Resources and media
Resources let multiple parts of a campaign refer to the same authored material. Open Resources from a campaign workspace. The visible library includes locations, campaign media, and an author-only answer-key view; node settings can attach reusable content and media references.
Locations
A location can hold an author label, player-facing name, galaxy and planet names, base name, 12-character portal glyph code, travel text, image, and author readiness notes. Reference the same location from separate mission visits instead of copying its identity. Remove or replace references before deleting a location that is in use.
Images and content
Campaign images live in private managed storage. The resource library accepts an image file with alt text and author notes, then lists its type and reference count. Narrative, archive, reward, location, and portal card surfaces can use relevant campaign images. A referenced asset cannot be removed until its uses are changed.
Use node settings for player-facing formatted text and, where supported, reusable content references. Check the player preview after adding a resource: author-only details and hidden answers must not appear there.
Endings
An ending is a destination on the campaign route. Connect a named mission exit to an ending to close the player path. If a campaign has several outcomes, create the needed endings and wire each route deliberately.
Answer keys
The Answer keys section identifies text-check expected answers and multiple-choice correct options as player hidden. Keep puzzle answers in those fields. An MCP connection needs the separate answers:read permission to receive hidden answer values from read tools.
Portal card media
Under Campaign settings, a draft can configure its portal card: visibility, public author name, synopsis, duration, genres, languages, player mode, requirements, content warnings, cover, and gallery. The preview option is still subject to the Portal Alpha gate. These player-facing fields become part of an immutable revision when the campaign is published.
